Ciao! Mi chiamo Carmelina Piparo! For those of you who don't speak Italian, I said, "Hi! My name is Carmelina Piparo." I'm 19 years old and a native of Tampa, Florida.

I love playing an active role in the community. That's why I like being a part of
a sorority. Sorority life offers many opportunities to get invloved in the community, especially
since I've become the social service chairperson for Phi Mu.
Where would I be without the support of my friends? Not very far. This picture above is with my
best friend Saba (THW). To quote one of my favorite song lyrics, "If we could laugh then we'd
all go insane." I'm a firm believer in that little adage and that's why I love and respect my
friends so intensely.
